The team behind MooseFS

MooseFS is a distributed POSIX file system developed and maintained by Saglabs SA, an engineering company based in Warsaw, Poland. The project began as an internal storage platform at a large European digital research and analytics company operating across more than 20 countries, and has been running in production ever since.

For over 20 years MooseFS has run continuously under conditions that stress-test every part of the stack: hundreds of thousands of events per second, petabytes of data, zero scheduled downtime. That production workload is the proving ground where every change earns its place before it reaches our customers.
